manual therapy
Acupuncture
Whether you're recovering from an injury or simply seeking relief from chronic pain, our clinic offers cutting-edge soft tissue therapies to get you back to 100%.
Our Graston technique uses specialized instruments to break down scar tissue and restrictions in the fascia. This gentle "ironing out" of the fascia decreases pain while restoring mobility and function. Both Dr. Laura and Dr. Holly are professionally certified in this innovative treatment.
For a soothing, holistic approach, consider cupping therapy. The suction cups gently lift the soft tissues to increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage to the area. Patients often describe the experience as deeply relaxing and rejuvenating.
Finally, kinesiology taping provides flexible support and gentle decompression of the fascia. The specially designed tape lifts the skin microscopically, allowing fluids to flow freely to decrease pain and swelling. Taping can provide functional improvement for muscle pain, joint pain, poor posture, inflammation, and bruising.
Acupuncture is the gentle insertion of very fine needles at specific points on the body. This process stimulates
movement of energy within the body, allowing natural healing to take place. Dr. Holly is trained to select these points. Acupuncture originated in China over 3,000 years ago. It is part of the holistic system of healing
known as Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncture helps to prevent illness by improving the overall functioning of the body’s immune and organ
systems. Acupuncture is helpful for:
Treating existing illnesses and injuries
Preventing both recurrence of illnesses and new illness
Improving overall health
Women’s issues
Digestive issues
Acute & Chronic pain (including headache & migraines)
Allergies & asthma
Pre & Post-natal care (morning sickness, breech baby, & labor
induction)
Stress, anxiety, depression
